TimeMist Air Sanitizer contains Glycols and Quaternary Ammonium Chlorides (QUATS). Glycols and QUATS are proven to kill a wide variety of viruses, a broad spectrum of bacteria, fungi, and molds.
QUATS are positively charged molecules with relatively long hydrophobic "tails." These molecules eliminate bacteria by destroying their outer membranes and literally dissolving bacteria. They kill viruses by binding to their external coats, preventing normal function and even denaturing their protective coatings. QUATS are highly effective, quick-acting germicidal agents that are not toxic to humans or animals.
